Former Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen showed off his abilities during the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine in early March. Allen’s arm lived up to the hype as he threw multiple passes 70 or more yards during passing drills. Members of the media were also impressed with the showing from Allen. Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com wrote,
“After spending five days at the NFL Scouting Combine, I am more convinced than ever that Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen has a legitimate chance to be the No. 1 overall pick by the Cleveland Browns.”
One NFL scout said, “He’s the alpha quarterback of the group.”
